I don’t go for a movie or rent one without knowing anything about it. Usually I visit imdb.com to see the user votes, and I hardly watch a movie voted less than six out of ten. That’s because I want to get the most out of the time that I spend watching one and worth the money I spend. So, where can I find good movie reviews over the internet? And who are the well-rounded movie critics that you suggest?

billsnickr added these pithy words on Jul 22 08 at 5:43 amI use IMDB.com, but Yahoo’s and Rottentomatoes.com’s reviews are normally pretty good. On Yahoo I look at the Critic’s reviews more often than the users (unless it’s a comedy – because critics seem to hate comedies but be dead on on any other type of movie). On Rotten Tomatoes, you can find a million people’s opinion as well as many local newspaper’s critics blogging. So I like that one too.
